yes you are correct. That means if you apply 887 visa you are still on 489 visa. so why is that nothing like working and living in regional is counted after applying 887 visa. So confusing rules.

my visa condition 8539 living in specified regional of Australia and I understand it. There are so many discussion about must live in regional area where you got sponsored ship and some says its not matter unless you live in the post code given in the condition. I have applied for 887 visa last month estimate time is 12 to 15 months so so long.

I think when we have granted bridging visa A there is no restrictions so we can move to anywhere in Australia but there will be soon changes on 887 visa before Christmas anything can happen so hold on until then. Dont rush just my opinion.

I tried to get release letter from murray regional areas but they said government orders to stop giving letters.

I am on same boat sponsored by murray regional area NSW but first 9 months in Adelaide and moved to murray region NSW but getting scared I am on bridging visa. My agent said its not a problem unless you live and work in regional area of Australia Reading many blogs from different immi agent on their website and Face book posts some of them said its not a problem in regional area and some said you have to live in the same state and regional area sponsored you. tried to get release letter for murray region but they said government stopped giving release letter
