  1. Hello all Just now got the Golden EMAIL. Finally got the visa grant for family of 3. Applied - 11.02.2018 1st CO - Sophorn on 5.3.2019 2nd CO - Rajani on 24.6.2019 Finally grant by CO Regina
  2. You are very much right. I applied in February 2018. Till now been contacted 2 times and every time CO asks for something new. Once provide the required documents CO hardly bother to see for next 4 months. We all 3 deeply regret to come to Australia. We had an opportunity to go to Canada but we opted Australia on 489 (in July 2015) and that was our life's biggest mistake. If we would have gone to Canada, by now we would have become citizen. The way Deptt. of Home Affairs is treating skilled migrants, is extremely frustrating. We hardly have any charm and happiness of living in Australia.
  3. Just can not blame anyone. It's all about destiny. Hope destiny must have chosen something good so shouldn't loose heart.
  4. Yes. Applied on 11/2/2018 CO asked for more documents on 5/3/2019. Submitted on 17/3/2019. Waiting now.
  5. Indian Consulate thru VFS India. It might take up to 4 weeks
  6. Applied on 11/02/2018 CO contacted on 05/03/2019 for further documents. Submitted on 17/03/2019. No contact after that. Don't know when our wait will be over.
  7. Even February 2018 is not completed.
  8. There is no prior appointment required at Centrelink. All the family members with original passport, visa copies, residential address proofs, bank credit/ debit cards need to visit Centrelink office.
  9. Bro, its practically not possible to leave Townsville at this stage. My son is studying in year 11 now and well settled in school. After school, he has to join some good courses in James Cook University in Townsville campus. My wife is running her business. After 3.5 years we can not start our life from scratch in a new town. We want to have our own home in Townsville now.
  10. You are lucky. But here in Townsville, if not Citizen, agents asked for visa copy along with 100 point checklist. Specially, after floods situation is very bad in respect of finding a rental property. More then 5000 houses were affected by flood. So these families need temporary accommodation for the period of 1 year or 1.5 years, till the time their flood affected house been repaired. And these people are not bothering rentals as being taken care by insurance companies.
  11. That's true. We are in Townsville (North QLD) and had serious flood this year in February. After flood, life has become more terrible in current house. There is mould every where. Honey bees have made nest in between roof and ceiling. Honey bees frequently entered into our house and bite us. We tried to change the house but no one is agreed to accept us as a tenant due to almost finishing visa 489 (on July 3rd, 2019) and property owners/ real estate agents don't recognize Bridging Visa. Already there is shortage of rented accommodations here after flood. We are forced to live in current property only. Sometimes, we really want to cry and it feels like committed a big mistake by coming to Australia on provisional visa. Don't know when God will listen us.
  12. I hope it should move fast now. We are desperately waiting for visa 887 so that can buy our own house. Bank just needs copy of visa, everything else is ready.
  13. Applied on 11.02.2018 CO Sophorn asked to re submit AFP (for myself and wife), Employment and Living in regional area proofs on 5/3/2019 Submitted everything on 17/03/2019. Now waiting with crossed fingers for the golden email. Don't know how long will it take.
  14. Oh...I recently uploaded all the documents but not been certified. There were two different letters attached in CO email. How should you provide the information section says "you do not need to get documents certified if you attach them thru immi account". Second letter say provide certified copies of required documents. Its confusing.
  15. Certified copies means? Certified by Justice Of Peace?
  16. That's true. We are living in Regional Queensland for almost 3.5 years. Running 3 stores here, generating lot of revenue and employment for the locals. But no priority has been given.
  17. Sometimes it's so depressing and suffocating to live like that. We are neither IN nor OUT. Can not buy own house, can not expand business. Whatever plans we make, stuck at Visa condition/ uncertainty. Surprisingly, visa 887 is not in priority list means, people living ONSHORE, contributing in community, want to settle in regional areas are not priority but people sitting OFFSHORE are on priority.
  18. Means it will hardly push a CO to expedite the case??
  19. Few days back I write to Global Feedback Unit that it's more than a year now after I applied for 887 and they replied - The Department has received feedback from an anonymous source. In accordance with the Department’s Client Feedback Policy, the feedback will be recorded and referred to the relevant business area for information. Departmental records indicate that your application is still under consideration. I have referred your feedback to the skilled regional visa management team for information. Please continue to monitor your ImmiAccount for updates, requests for further information and/or an application outcome. In the event that your personal situation changes, please contact the Department via your ImmiAccount. I have now closed this feedback case. What does that mean?
  20. One more thing, I am running my own business here and all my balance sheet along with other financial data were audited and attested by local Chartered Accountant with his letter.
  21. All boxes as mentioned by you are checked except for overseas police certificate. I was not sure if I need to get overseas police clearance at the time of 887 as well. Last year my friend applied for 887 without overseas police clearance and he got the visa. You reckon, overseas police is very much required?
