Actually i arrived in Australia on 13/06/2015 and applied my 887 on 29/06/2017. But i had overseas travel which i did not make up for and hence was rejected. As per immi dept calculation i had completed 597 days of 730 days required.

Takes around 2 weeks, you will have to submit your original passport.

for me grant came after 5 months of submitting documents..

Hi Guys, Just got email "IMMI Grant Notification" from legend Sophorn, confirming my indefinite stay in Australia. 887 granted. Applied 30-06-2017; Rejected 30-11-2017 due to non completion 2 years. Reapplied 06/02/2018, 1st contact 13-11-2018 CO Dat Requirements : 1 Year Employment & Australian Federal Police (AFP) clearance National Police Check for Primary Applicant with alias names and Evidence of your English language ability & Australian Federal Police (AFP) clearance National Police Check with alias names for secondary applicant. Updated new Passport for Primary Applicant on 01/03/2019 887 granted on 29/04/2019 - Sophorn Thanks everyone for all the support and best of luck to all.

Bad News before Easter, Time line updated further... Hope its not a never-ending wait...........

I applied Feb-2018 and my passport was expiring April-2019, i have already updated new passport 01-03-2019, before CO asks for it.

Hi, Will recommend not to update passport before around 1 month of expiry as CO may ask for new AFP certificate. I have applied in Feb-18 and my passport expires April-19 but am waiting for PR hope will get approval in this month. Will renew the passport once get my PR.
