Hi guys, I am planning to buy a home in Adelaide. I have literally no idea where to start from! I would love to hear some experiences before I begin to look for a property, I am not sure which option is best ; buying or building? What hidden costs I need to be aware of? What area should I go for? I prefer a place that is safe from burglars, and flood and bush fire . Any other suggestions ? What else should I keep in mind. Please give me some suggestions! I would appreciate your kind response.

You are the main applicant and you moved to the regional area within recommended time limit ( thats what I understand from the information provided by you) I think unless you personal issues were really big and were disclosed to any related authority, it shouldn’t be any problem. I am not 100 percent sure but its my opinion that living requirement are only for main applicant . However, I know all applicant needs to be in Australia at the time of approval. Again its just my opinion without any fact check. They usually don’t check secondary applicants work details either, I would like to hear from others too.

Looks like sufficient to me. Bank statement should have rent and grocery transactions. Any utility bills are okay. Shouldn’t be any problem. I assume you have lease agreement though

Hi mate, I provided lease agreements , rental Ledgers, and bank statements which has all transcriptions which proves I live in SA. No additional receipts. Have you attached bank statement?

Congratulations to my buddies who shared this great day of grants with me today. Thanks all wished me well. I will pray for those who were behind me in this queue and still waiting. Those who wanted to know more about my case. There were 3 applicants. I am primary applicant with a child who is 8 years old. I submitted 92 pay slips (nearly 2 years) . My husband visited back home but they did not ask for new overseas PCC. Checked my status last night, it was still “received “ . I received a call from my agent at 09:20 this morning to tell me about grant which I couldn’t answer because I was at work. So either they only took 15 minutes to go through my documents or they had already checked but did not change status Anyway, I am so relieved Thanks to the creators of this forum. This has been great help in the long period of wait with no clue whereabout is my file. Wish you all the best

Yes its a MUST, it doesn’t take long , I received it at home within 2 weeks as there were some Eaters holidays in between. Good luck

Nudgee I think the best option was to select Yes and write both addresses but since it seems like a minor mistake and I have given all addresses anyway, I think it’s not going to be an issue, so i am not going to bother to fill any further forms. Hope for the best

Sorry I am not answering your question but pointing out that I have done something similar, There is a question in form 80 “ have you lived in more than 1 regional area something like that which I have answered in “No” . As I thought I have only live in SA but now i am thinking I have lived in two suburbs as I have moved to a new rental property, so does it mean i have leaved in two regional areas? Should I have written “yes” instead. I have provided both list of all the addresses I lived since I came to Australia but I wonder is it a mistake??

Guys I am pretty sure this question has been answered already but to be specific, my husband is a secondary applicant and he visited back home for 25 days, I never did whilst we are on 489 visa. Do I need to get PCC from my home country? If yes, is it for both or just for my husband. Again sorry if you have already answered this question. Has anyone got asked for in similar case? I mean we had given for both before his visit. I appreciate your assistance
