  1. Grant Grant Grant Applied 2/7/18 Recieved 17/1/20
  2. Does anyone have an email address to contact the Department so that we can complain about the due Visas. I have gone onto the Complaints page but i can't even send anything on the feedback tab. Anyone due for their grants now should say something before they increase the waiting time again.
  3. Would it be possible to establish which states are processing grants? As I was wondering when last someone from South Australia received a grant?
  4. Hi When we applied for our 887 Our IELTS had also expired, however if we could prove that our education we primarly in English, that was accepted. Also, if you have studied in Australia for more than 2 years, that is also considered proof of english. Hope that helps.
  5. Yip? Are you? Do you have the same waiting period and CO?
  6. Hi All Just a random question to all those still waiting. Who of you has CO Sophorn? Is there a link between the delays and the attending CO?
  7. Hi Hope We too applied on the same day as you did and all our paperwork was submitted, and CO Sophorn still requested paperwork that was submitted in the beginning. I think they misplace our information and we are the ones who have to wait. I feel your frustration, as we have ticked all the boxes and more, and have no intentions of moving to the city as both my husband and I are employed by regional businesses. It would be nice to be able to move on in life, but waiting for our VISA is frustrating.
  8. Can someone please offer any advice on renting agreements and how a bridging visa affects your lease. Our 489 Visa expires in January 2020, and our house lease needs to be renewed now in November. Would or should we anticipate any issues in renewing our lease? I only ask, because I know that financial institutions will only help while your visa is current and they have said that they do not recognise the bridging visa to be valid. I am concerned that we will have the same answer from real estate brokers.
  9. According to our agent its best not to leave the country on a bridging Visa.
  10. Thank you. This really gives some kind of hope to those waiting.
  11. Is there any updates on the Visa Tracker? It doesn't seem to make any sense atm. I would also like to add my details to the spreedsheet. Applied 2 July 2018 and additional info reqested on the 23 May 2019 (payslips, TAX Returns and Proof of English) Our CO is Sophorn...........
  12. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ApeHDAjEH60WFBNLeq14wvGzegiqGC4KD0U-OyH_w6U/edit#gid=0 Going by this sheet, I truly hope so. Thanks
