  2. This is what on the web site:- Apply for the visa You can apply for this visa online. You, and any family members who are applying with you, must be in Australia when you apply. Apply for this visa online in ImmiAccount Log in or create an ImmiAccount Attach your documents Pay the first application charge. We will not process your application until you pay this first instalment of the visa application charge. Note your transaction reference number (TRN) So, it clearly says pay the first installment which is the visa application charge. But I am not sure though. PS. My Bad. Just checked the site. Its free to add new born. So nothing to be paid for adding new born in the un-finalised visa application.
  3. @nmit07I think the department is asking the visa application fee for the dependent (In this case a new born baby) if not paid when application is made or when the dependent is added in the application.
  4. Congrats @Sep2019 @Jessi @suvasuman @Tracy D and @sran17 on your grants....Enjoy your first stress-free weekend.
  5. As per rules, you should have functional english at the time of application. So, in my opinion, you should be good as and whenever your file is opened.
  6. Hi Jacob, 1. Yes, IELTS results are valid for three years if they are competent and above english. If your IELTS results are still valid and they are more than 4.5 in each, you need not to take test again. 2. Remember, DHA has changed the rules last week and updated the website. Don't know why your agent is still acting like dumb. They should be always on top of their game as an applicant people pay a lot of amount to them. But, alas, they still F**KSup the cases. 3. Yes, each applicant has to show english competency as per the updated rules. Hope this helps.
  7. Congrats mate....After soooooooooo long
  8. That's true my friend. I have sit IELTS twice and once they cut mark in speaking and second time they cut marks in reading. And then I sat in PTE wherein i got the required score in first attempt itself. They know it's the way they make money as i have said earlier in my posts.
  9. i totally agree...as they say , "we are children of the lesser gods." i am saying this because all the applicants for 887 have completed their obligations and has complied with all the regulations and laws but still instead of having a 2-4 months of processing times we are all having atleast 12 months for direct grant (in today's scenario) and 20 months for normal. however, as we all have lived and completed our tenure as per 489 visa, we should be granted in less than 04 months as is happening with some of the other visas where department has to to all checks (In our case, checks are already done during 489 stage). I apologize for venting... but can't help it/
  10. Book on whatever date and upload the booking receipt or ask for paying the 2nd VAC if you haven't paid at 489 stage.
  11. I also feels so...Actually if we keep updating the documents, as and when CO picks up the file, requirement for asking further document ceases to exists and thus direct grant.

You complain saying that as per the website, there is no requirement of language proof dor the primary applicants and see what their response is. o
