I am following this forum from last year jan vn I applied for my 887. The funny part of this forum when some one come with some solution to take legal action or approach lawyers or some one told we should all protest in front of assembly to make things moving. Always some one come with all knowledge and finish topic. In simple words immigration is responsible for our mental state of mind and stress. Other hand there is no comparison between 189 and 190 as they come out of quota. We already done 489 so we are here to full fill our condition of living and working so we done with that. The 887 can be done with in 6 months if immi wants but they want to bury us in regional area till we die. They are many people in forum including me too contribute and pay the fee to lawyers to discuss this issue. And guys who applied in last six month don’t think it’s not ur issue . If we don’t act collectively it will increase to 24 months. If we act by our own we can’t do any thing but collectively can change scenario . Thanks

It’s not about blaming anyone. It’s all about making immi listen. Two articles published related to delays on 887 visa by sbs. Now applicants are making noise in coming days we will approach lawyers and discuss. If things had been done before the time frame wouldn’t be 19-22 months from 6-8 months in a year.

Yes I know people prefer waiting. They don’t want change any thing but need everything should change and fix by itself. If we can get applicants who interested then we can approach lawyer. I think every one should take this seriously even though they applied recently as it get down the waiting time for all.

Can we approach it in a legal way? If that so it vl be great . The applicants before us haven’t done any thing to change circumstances so we are facing worst . We should initiate change it vl be good for people who are going to apply or recently applied. If not just hold urself and talk things which no way going to change process time. Thanks

That’s correct mate. Undoubtedly we are getting struck for longer time around 18-20 months. Many people in this forum are not interested in time delays they are more eager in baby medical, English requirement , centre link benefit and so on. If you have any suggestions let us know even we can go legal way by paying money from our pocket.

One of the member in forum suggested about legal action need to be taken by consulting solicitor and lawyers. It’s a best way to make immigration listen. If not just come check forum ask and discuss the things vch is no way related to visa process and delays.

It’s frustrating for everyone who is on this visa. Person who applied for 887 visa vl always have a valid visa if 489 expires BV vl be issued. So it’s not about valid visa it’s about permanent residence

It’s very helpfull information. They are couple of cases where direct grant is given to applicants. We have more cases vn case officer request for additional information. Every one who submit the application vl do 100 percent to upload all papers at the time of application . They can only double check police check that’s it apart from that nothing can be change. If case officer ask some thing out of the box definitely it vl delay application. It’s nothing like decision ready application it’s all depend on case officer. If mrX gets direct grant it doesn’t mean mr Y also gets even though they have same paper and they struggle together. The main issue is why it vl take care officer around 6 months to finalise application after first contact. That’s the main concern it’s just how they want to deal. By giving some direct grants giving false hope to others.

To make them hear we should make noise. We checked vth sbs now if possible to go to abc and give them a reference of last two article publish in sbs. If we able to connect this blunder vth new 491 as Govt have no intention to develop regional area as they preaches. If this can be done we have hope if not just regrets and stress.

It’s really frustrating the way immi treating applicants of 887. They just want to make sure time frame reaches 24 month and every should wait around 4 years in regional. It’s too painful I regret a decision to come to Australia. Don’t know what will make them understand our situation

Guys we should focus on sbs reply and send emails so they can bring up this issue. Some time I feel immi is tracking this forum when group members come together with an idea to bring down waiting time very next hour or day it’s a grant to keep us calm. Too many applications are waiting prior to July but we getting confirmation of August approval. Some thing fishy

Really it’s a big thing and all applicant who had processing time above a year should write a email. It’s a 9 month for me but person who applied last year had a span 12 months and above go for it. We should respect to the opportunity or just blame ourself later. Please guys make some efforts so it will be easy for our families.

We all should make collective efforts who active or inactive in forum. Can talk to lawyers and ask them to suggest best for us. They just using 887 applicants as tissue paper as we came in a boat. Every one who spend 2 years in regional they have guts so they survive and deserving as other visa category. Vn we got 489 that too came from some quota. We can contribute and make achain of it sooner or later it vl come down to 24 months. 

Hello Guys I am new to this forum. Applied on 17 jan 2019. Guys it’s a time to show immi that our life to get effected vth this decisions. Nothing happened in past so it came down to 18 months from 8 months in a year. If nothing happens now it will go back to 24 months in next couple months. So they can put us here for 4 years. We can just satisfy ourselves by listening stories.
