This whole process is like a lottery game in the meantime and I wouldn't be surprised when they start granting September'18 applications now after that new announcement... I'm really wondering and very concerned about what they are "planning" to do with all the applicants from Jan to June 2018??? If they not changing their "strategy" pretty soon we will all ending up on a Bridging Visa...

· Thanks for all your effort, guys, and that SBS has published the story! Well done! Both examples mentioned in the story have applied in August '18. Unfortunately, the story doesn't cover that: a) random applicants get requests for further documents although they are already uploaded b) that applications from Jan to June ‘18 are completely on hold and are obviously forgotten, although they have announced it different on their website. But at least the story has been addressed - thank you! Let's hope for the best!

Happy for all the July grants, but why they are not touching the cases from Jan to June '18 anymore??? It is so ridiculous unfair, especially as they have written on their website that they "are currently assessing applications submitted before July 2018". What's going on???

Any idea why they are not clearing first January to June 2018 applications (as even written on their website) before starting with July 2018 etc.??? What do you guys think?

Thanks, Honey! Yes, we know that this is mandatory and we have uploaded our form 80 in June 2018 when we have applied. The question is: do we need to update it and upload a newer form 80? Thanks!

Can someone please explain why they asking randomly for new form 80, when you have uploaded it in the beginning? Is it a "must" to do now like Police certificates or do they just ask, when not completed or major changes were happening during this waiting game? Thanks!

Hi Nadine, Same here, all our paperwork was submitted and well sorted by our agent. We have applied on the 25th of June 2018. After 13 month we got a message from CO that they request another English test, although my wife had a valid one with way above requested level uploaded and 3 years in the country. Our agent tried twice to send them a message to clarify and called as well but no response. She has done the test again in less than 28 days and uploaded. Nothing heard since then! By the way, we got the info that emails to "adelaide.gsm.team10" obviously not going through and land somewhere. We have also no intention of moving to the city and like to stay regional, but it is so nerve-wracking not be able to move on with life and really settle. All the best everyone!
