  1. Thanks very much for the information. We will work on this now
  2. @trx @nmit07 Thanks very much guys for the suggestion. I will tell me wife to send an email to Passport Office in India. If she gets a reply then I will upload it to my immi account and wait for the COs response.
  3. Hi Guys, Can someone please help? CO asked for wife's PCC from India where she currently is. However the Indian Passport Office that issues PCC is shut due to Corona and she doesn't know when she can get the appointment. Is there a way we can request CO for waiver or it has to be done sooner or later? TIA
  4. Hi Guys, Going by the current climate things will be really hard interms of job opportunities in the regional area. Yesterday I even saw a report about causal staffs are losing shifts or being fired. Government is doing its best to restore everything to normal, however they are also in panic mode. My concern is that will the government also consider giving us free hold on humanitarian grounds. Will they let us work in the metropolitan areas if ever we lose jobs in the regional area, at least they can process the visa faster for the once who have completed 2 year conditions. Please Immigration do something for us, we aren’t children of lesser God
  5. Yes, I have uploaded the biodata page (the one with name DOB and other details) and the last page with address and spouse details on it. Not sure if we need to upload all the passport pages too?
  6. Hi, Just a quick one. Do we need to upload all the pages of passport or just the first and the last page?
  7. I was wondering if someone knows how many case officers have been assigned to look after 887 visa applications? There will be a mad rush in early 2020 due to a huge number of 489s will be eligible to apply for 887.
  8. Hi, I am in the same boat. Went overseas once for 40 days but applied 887 just 4 days after my 2 years stay requirement. However one of my friends rang DIBP and they said under 3 months of overseas stay won't need to be compensated. I am a bit relaxed now. Still a long way to go though
  9. Thanks very much for the response. Feeling confident to move now but I think I read somewhere on this portal that if you move to another regional area after submitting 887 then they will ask you a new proof of living again and in my case, I wouldn't be able to provide lease document or the rent receipts. However, I will submit my son"s school admission and my new regional job. Hope that will help
  10. Hey Guys, I have applied for 887 in April 2019. I have lived and worked in TAS for 3 years. Now I am thinking of moving to Victoria regional area however I will be living with my brother (owns a house) who also lives in a regional Victoria. This means I won't have a lease document or a proper rental paper. Will this be a problem? I will also look for work in a regional area after moving and my son will study in the primary school around that area. Our regional work and my son's school admission enough proof of living in a regional area? Your responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
  11. Thanks very much for this very helpful information. Our 489 expires in 2021 so that means my family can travel now. I will bring them back before they open my files. Cheers!
  12. Hi, I was wondering if someone can answer my question regarding dependent applicants. My wife, my nine years old and I have lived in a regional area for more than 2 years and worked full time on 489 visa. We have submitted our 887 applications in April 2019. Now my wife and kid (dependent applicants) want to go overseas for 6/7 months. Is it going to be a problem if the CO opens my file? Will this considered a breach of visa condition as my wife and son lived overseas for a fair bit of time overseas? However, I will be continuing my stay in a regional area and my usual work. Your responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
