Hello all, a silent follower here.. Got our golden email today at 12:35pm... applied on 17 May 2020 CO- Lisa Family of 3 (baby 11 months) We sent an email to Doha with our daughter’s documents to request for Hap ID. Got the hap ID in 2 days, booked the medical for next day.. so will suggest those waiting for Hap ID to please send their baby’s documents and get it earlier as there are not much slots available with Bupa these day... All the best to all those waiting...

@Tejas Yes, that will be a simple health examination. The doctor will check your baby’s height, weight and will ask you general questions. That’s it.

Hi @Tejas you should have received a checklist that mentions the type of test you need to do for your baby. Usually its just a medical checkup done at Bupa. You can see that on your immiaccount as well.

@sha_adelaide we applied by sending the documents via email. The email address is available on the Medicare website.

@SJay Hi, even though I have recently submitted my application, I want to be prepared with all the documents. I already have the immunisation history statement for my baby. Would you be able to send me the template for the gp medical certificate? Thanks bunch.

@ASDFG i agree with @nmit07.. I had a baby last September and we had the Bupa essential overseas visitor cover as well... we just had to pay for ultrasounds and gp gap during the waiting period.. Bupa covered all our pathology tests and we didn’t have to exceed our cover for this.. infact our monthly cost after adding our baby to the insurance has increased by just $25..

Ours is skilled regional but I was confused so I claimed under temporary resident. I thought they would contact to confirm the details but they didn’t and approved the super request. I don’t have a job at the moment , so I selected the option for temporary resident with living expense difficulty.

We just expressed our intent on the ATO website and it got approved.

Hi guys, We will be submitting our 887 application next month and have a question regarding the bank statements. Do we need to get the detailed statements or we can sort them to show just the credits/payments for each week? I reckon it would be easier for CO to match just the payments with the salary slips rather than searching through the detailed bank statements. Any inputs will be appreciated!

How long did it take for you to get your baby’s 489 visa? We have sent the documents to DHA and its been a month but have not heard back. Thanks

Hello everyone, I have been following this forum from a few days and have got to know a lot of information regarding visa 887. We will be eligible to apply for 887 next month. We had a baby recently and have sent the documents to DHA to get her added to our visa category. Can anyone please help me with the approx. timeframe DHA takes to add the baby to the parent’s visa? We won’t be able to submit the application for 887 until the baby has 489, so we want to be prepared for this. Thanks a ton in advance!!
