My best guess is that "your change in relationship status" - slow down the processing time your application. 887.321 The applicant continues to be a member of the family unit of a person who, having satisfied the primary criteria, is the holder of a Subclass 887 visa.

Regardless of the advice from your agent, you are still in a good hand if you prepare evidence of functional english (at least) and ask the agent to upload it to in your case file. there may be chance that your agent has not been updated or informed of the new functional english requirement.
