Qasim Javed. We are non resident. I am in position like you because my family stuck overseas but i am in Australia. my visa will expire on 4 july 2020. If you find out any option so please let me know.

No, They stuck in Pakistan. I am primary applicant and i am onshore. Keep in view this situation if department will only grant 887 so family can come. But may be it is not possible.

FAMILY STUCK IN PAKISTAN. VISA WILL EXPIRE on 04/07/2020. More then 20 months on application. I am primary applicant of this 887 visa application and i am not sure that make decision on my application or not because all secondary applicants are overseas. To get back family in some options IF. They Lift the ban. IF the grant 887 to me only so my family can come back because i am onshore Don't know......... because of this ban, immigration should relax their policies.

PM has banned all Non resident to come to Australia. we are on fucking 489 regional skill migration visa so are we count are Resident or Non Resident ????? Anyone knows ??

SERIOUS SUGGEST NEEDED PLEASE My family is in Pakistan and we have valid 489 visa till 4th July 2020 and they will comeback 1 July 2020. So keep in view current situations due to corona virus. I would like to suggest you that do not apply student visa. My friend was in same situation. So she moved to Geelong, Victoria, which is regional area and from there she is doing Nursing course.

No Grant yet. 20 months on application. Complaint outcome was that i am still in time frame. Sent last month all my family to overseas as father of my wife is seriously sick and family will comeback after 4 months. SO NOT IN HURRY NOW AND WILL NOT CONTACT DEPARTMENT MYSELF UNTIL FAMILY IS ONSHORE. FEELING RELAX BECAUSE NOT THINKING ABOUT 887 VISA GRANT NOW.

It is really stressful time and I have already sent my all family to overseas for 4 months to enjoy this waiting game duration

I did complaint too on 19 months, they opened my file again and gave me 3rd document request . And said after 28 days means end of March will open my file again

I am 19 months and 16 days

I will share what I have done, my colleague who is Australian citizen went At justice of peace who is the witness.. justice of peace stamped on declaration and she signed on it in front of him.
