Hi All, We are permanent resident and permanently living in Australia. Recently me and my family have received new passports (not Australian passport) and I have contacted to local immigration office in Adelaide to inform and update our new passport. They gave me some Form to fill-up and return. I have completed that form with new passport detail and new address (as we have moved to a new address after the PR was granted) and return it to Adelaide office. Its been a long time, but there is no update in VEVO. Still it is showing the old passport against our visa grant number. Anyone have any idea how long it will take for them to update the new passport info against our visa grant number. One more info I would like to add here, as there was no check list or instruction to add any further documents like photocopy of new passport and proof of address - I did not submit them. I just have submitted those change of address and passport form. If anyone have any idea what can I do please suggest.

I have a silly question. Can you please help me? We are looking for a property. If we found a suitable property and put an offer for that – Does not mean that vendor will except our offer and we will get that property – is n’t it? Is it ok --- to put offer on multiple properties at the same time? What will happen if more than one offer accepted at the same time whereas we are ready to buy just one? Can we then keep the best deal and say other offers ‘NO’? Another question, if we make an offer – ideally how many days we need to wait to get a feedback? After how many days we can think that it is over and void? Hope you will share your experience and help us.

Hi All, I would like to share one good news with all. Now it is my time. We got our golden email on 24-Dec-2014. I was in Christmas holiday with family and had limited access to internet that's why I am sharing my happy moment with you all now. I am from Bangladesh and in my application my wife and two kids were also included. my timeline is as following: applied from 475 to 887on 17-Jun-2014 co assigned on 13-Oct-2014 visa grant on 24-Dec-2014 No contact by co or team 13. Provide all possible supporting document even foreign PC and form 80 & form 1221 at the time of application.

Congratulation on your PR. If you don't mind please share your nationality. Currently people are getting 475 to 887 in 3-4 months except few nationality.

He got his 887 from 475 it is confirm. Not only you even he also surprised to get the grant letter yesterday. Only took 4.5 months and no Bangladeshi people got PR that fast in last 2 years. Not sure what happen and how but that really happened.

Hi All, I would like to share a good news of my friend. My friend applied in August and got his PR Yesterday. He got his CO in October. In his application, his wife & three children were included. Two weeks ago he was contacted by team 13 and asked for Form 80 & Form 1221. He is from Bangladesh. He got his PR in 4.5 months.

Hi July_887, It is a great news. Congratulation.. Its seems processing time for Bangladeshi applicant through 887 come down to 14-15 months now. In last two months we saw at least 5-6 grant for Bangladeshi applicant in 14-17 months. Whereas the whole process now become faster other nationality are getting grant letter in 2-3 months. Hope the processing time for Bangladeshi people will reduce to a reasonable level. All the very best for your future. It will be a great help for other waiting Gang if you please share little bit more about your 14 month time line i.e when did you get CO? When did you get team 10? How many times you were contacted by immi for any docs or info? What extra docs they asked? How fast you response?

Hi shahedce, Do you get your new MRP passport and if yes then when did you get that and when did you informed immi about that new passport? That delay you will not count as processing delay is not it?

Hi Wahab, Have patient. Though it is a long waiting so far but current trend showing some good sign for Bangladeshi Applicant. Bangladeshi applicants were suffering since Dec 2012 with some exception. But things are changing. I know 02 people got PR last week. One of them got after 14 months and another one got after 17 months. So hope for the best.

Hi mel887 As per DIBP, defination of full time work is: 35 hours per week. You can do that 35 hour in one full time job or more than one part time job. Now about payslip, pay weekly, forthnightly or Monthly is upto employeer and you can do nothing about that. What DIBp will look if your payslip is weekly they will look for hour 35 or more. Now if forthnightly 35 X 2= 70 hour or more , and so for monthly. So I don't see any issue here as long as you are doing more than 35 hours per week. You can do one thing, when you will take "Employeer Letter"/ "Letter of Employment" / "Certificate of Service" whatever you are calling it from your employeer in Company Letter head signed by your manager or any responsible person from your HR, mention your Name, Position Name, Type of Employment, Weekly hours and from & To date. That will clarify rest of the thing for you.

Congrats cool, May I ask you a question? How many people were included in your application? I mean you were primary applicant, was there any secondary applicant and dependents? What about your cousin? Is he single in his application or with family? Really try to understand the pattern and priority they are maintaining. It will not take long anyway, you can apply for your AFP online and thay are really fast. Hopefully by end of this week you will get your AFP if you apply today. All the best. Keep us updating.

Hi eid2014, As per your provided info, you were contacted by team 13 in Feb that means about 7 months ago. So your thinking about decision about 3 to 4 months is not true I think. Actually we have nothing to do now. It is not about qualification or any documents. The process is very straight "You have to work 1 year full time and stay in regional area from 2 years". And everybody apply for 887 after completing those condition. All other people still getting visa in 3.5 to 5 months. I think you already understand what I am saying. There is No rule and that is the rule. True is there is no time line at all.

Do you know their timeline and team info who processed their PR. If possible please collect that info and share here. That may help other people to understand about processing timeline of Bangladeshi applicant.

If you don't mind, I would like to say don't go for any complain. It will not help you. Only thing you can do is to wait and give them call if you have your CO's direct contact number every 2 months (I mean giving a gap in between). Unfortunately if any applicant send for external check unless something positive feedback come no one can help you. Now problem is not Security Check, problem is every now and then CO is changing and more specificly no one is dedicated to your case. Now it is a team who is responsible for your case. I found few Bangladeshi people who was waiting for long time and their security checked come through but no one from immi issue a PR for them though all boxes were checked. They ringed up and found that everything is checked and got PR. If you have team's group address or your CO's group address send a email or give them a call. It is fair enough to query your status when you are waiting for a long time. Do you know any Bangladeshi people is south australia who got PR after applying Jan 2014, if yes please share their timeline. Like when did they apply and what was the grant date and which team processed their case.

Hi Che1360, Complete character assessment particulars for this applicanti appear for you or for your secondary applicant? In one of my friend's case that came for secondary applicant as we all did character assessment for primary applicant at the time of submitting 887 application. It seems that something is happaning in your case, I think your case is with a CO. Complete your Character assessment carefully and hope you are nearly there. Congratulation in advance.
