Hey guys I'm it's been a while since I posted but I was hoping someone could provide me with some answers. Me and my partner recently got our pr (24/7). he owns his own business and has been highly affected by covid as I'm sure a lot of you. My question now is if he's now eligible for jobkeeper or seeker or any type of support for the periods he has to shut the business. Not sure if anyone here knows but I thought I'd ask anyway since it's so hard to find anything, seems like there are amendments being made for quicker access to a pr but then once you have it you still fall behind the net.

You guys we finally got our pr today, can't even believe it Applied may 2019 First contact may 2020 requested English secondary applicant, provided 2 weeks later Second contact June 2020 requested English main applicant, submitted just in time on day 27 after request was made. Also complained about not making all requests in the same time. Grant received today (co Wendy) Thanks for all your help here and goodluck to every one!

Guys, We won't be able to provide our requested IELTS in time, is there anything we can do about this or will they just simply deny our application without it?

Because it wasn't I'm from the Netherlands where I studied in Dutch and my partner whose the main applicant is from France and studied in French.

Unfortunately we will have to do the IELTS again, it's just frustrating because how would ones English regress when living and working in an English speaking country for years already and even then just ask for everything you need during first contact already! Sorry for the rambling but just so frustrated here. Anyways thanks for your help, at least now we know

We did though but it was an older one, so not valid anymore. I guess we'll have to do the test again and provide a new one. Just annoys me that they didn't ask for it during first contact.

Just got a second request to now provide IELTS for main applicant. We already provided for secondary applicant after they requested this 29 days ago and now again but for main, I thought this wasn't needed? Could I dispute this.

Can someone add me to the tracker? 2ppl from France and Netherlands, applied 5/5/19 first contact 29/05/20 requested contracts from main applicants job (we only supplied payslips), functional English for secondary applicant and translation of French PCC.

Hi everyone Silent follower here and I have a question. For our or I had to submit functional English so I did the IELTS yesterday but accidentally did the academic. Can anyone tell me if this will be accepted? I'm literally freaking out here.
