Hi All, Just now got the 887 visa grant email. Thank you all for your suggestions. Also, please do let me know if I have to apply for Medicare card as I have never availed the interim Medicare card. CO in my case was Sophorn who raised query on 6/8/2020.

Same case here. I have applied on 12/3/20 , first contact made on 6/8/2020 and still waiting. Family of 3.

Could anyone please tell me what is the approximate time Home Affairs take to reply on Further Assessment cases? My 887 visa application is in that stage and the estimated processing time showing is 16 months to 20 months.

I have got my PCC. I applied on 3rd Aug and received it by post on 12th Aug.

Is it a possibility that the a different CO will be assigned after I respond to the initial query? I am fearing if a different CO is assigned then he or she may raise another query.

I got a single query today from CO Sophorn GSM Adelaide. AFP clearance for my wife with her surname which was before marriage. They are considering it as an Alias name. How to do that? Please help.

Did they ask for PCC? In my case, I have applied for 887 in 12th March 2020 and neither I nor my family members have visited to India from March 2018 to March 2020. So will I require PCC?

Hi , I am hearing that lot of applicants for 887 visa are getting queriesto attached Indian PCC. Is it a general rule now? Or someone who has visited India and stayed for more than 4 weeks within two years from the date of landing in Australia or after applying for 887 visa will require Indian PCC? Please do clarify. In my case, I am staying Adelaide for more than 2 years and haven't been to India in this two years. Also, I have applied for 887 in March 2020 and the current processing time is showing 21 to 22 months. Kind Regards, Soumya
