That’s absolutely true. The functional English ability was not required back to June 2019, the time when I lodged my application. I think my Co is a reasonable person, he has contacted me in June 2020 requested for functional English ability evidence for secondary applicant and updated NPC. However I also added my Australian university completion statement and academic transcript as English ability evidence since many primary applicant have been requested recently. We have nothing can do but to wait. Hopefully our additional documents could be finalized and we could receive our grants soon. All the best!

Am I forgotten? Applied as primary applicant on 5th June 2019, contacted in 2nd June 2020 for secondary applicant’s police check and English ability evidence. Submitted NPC and australia university completion letter on 18th June, nothing heard since that. Feel frustrated by seeing many ppl applied 8 months behind us got granted.

My lawyer told me that the case officer will notice her if the process has been delayed or paused for any reason. She told me just be patient, from her experience there were several cases got granted 6 months after their first contact.(´ཀ`)

Exactly. Really frustrating. Especially noticing many others who have applied in this Feb and got granted before us.

Here. Here. Applied on 2nd June 2019, got contacted for NPC on 5th June 2020 and submitted on 18th June. No further information. I also worried about wether it’s because my partner (secondary applicant) stuck in overseas now.
