  4. hi, if you book into peer training to do the wiring rules course (3 days) and have your tra you can get your sa licence immediately. if you dont yet have your tra you need to do the same as you did for your initial migration, letters and references, signed copies of certificates etc, the more the better, there is a post somewhere on here telling you exactly what to do. this can be done and posted from uk as long as you have an aus address, and takes about 4-6 weeks. i was lucky to find a co. who employed me before i got the licence, and seem to employ a few poms. pm me and ill give you a phone no.
  5. We are leaving our rental property in Brighton and wondered if anyone was interested in taking it on from 23 April. Its a 2 bed / 2 bathroom refurbished appt in a beautiful location opposite the beach. Please pm me if interested.

  7. Hi Jane We are in the same boat. My husband will be arriving in Adelaide on 11th October and I will be following 5 weeks later (have to work a long employment notice). We will be leaving our 3 kids here (all in early 20's) - they do have visas but have their own lives and partners and do not want to come out at present. We feel guilty leaving them but this will be our last chance to go and they say they are proud of us. We do have relatives in Adelaide and have visited several times and have found it a very friendly place but I'm so scared! Would be pleased to meet up when you arrive and would like to meet up with anyone else when I get there in November. Tina
