hi guys , Applied from 489 family sponsored to 887 via email cause having a error message online.applied through agent on 13th of feb 2015 and recieved acknowledgment letter on 19th feb 2016.i was secondary applicant on 489 and applied 887 visa as main applicant , does anybody know if feb applicants 2015 has been allocated to case officer.

Hi Jan487 , Thanks for reply. is it possible to apply under my wife name and show fulltime work proof under my name ?as far as I know all requirements should be fulfilled by main applicant for visa 887 isn't it.

Hi all, some problem is being occurred for online application 887 , as I am a secondary applicant of 489 and fulfilled 2 year stay and 1 year work requirement ,I am going to be main applicant for visa 887 ,which I think is acceptable to DIBP ,my visa was active from 4/02/2013 , but while filling up the online application ,it is giving error saying "you do not hold a valid prerequisite visa to enable use this service" , initially I thought that it is a technical problem ,when I called IMMI ,they said that it is a technical problem and they will send email to technical team, as per immi it will take 1 week to get reply from technical team , its sad that I cant apply 887 visa for whole week .In other hand when I try from my wife immi account, and filled a details of her as a main applicant on online application ,the system is not showing any error message ,that shown for my immi account when I filled application as a main applicant with my details. my wife was a main applicant for visa subclass 489 but she couldn't fulfil fulltime employment for visa 887 that's why I need to apply for visa 887 as a main applicant but as far as I know DIBP regulation is allowing secondary applicant of 489 to apply 887 as a main applicant. BIG confusion and stressed anybody who is in same situation please advice. thanks

Hi all, today fulfilled 2 years stay in designated area form visa 489, now trying to fill the application but after completion of 5 % application the following error encounters: you do not hold a valid prerequisite visa to enable to use this service. is there any problem with online application? by the way I was secondary applicant on 489 visa ,now I am fulfilled 2 years stay and 1 year fulltime work requirement in designated area , now I will be the main applicant for visa 887 . is it a cause because I was a secondary applicant for visa 489 ,the online application in showing a error message . pls help what to do. thank you

Hi all, I am in family sponsored visa 489 ,that's why I am living and working in designated area, I have 3 days remain to apply for 887 and I have few questions; 1) about online application i am stuck in page 5 which is asking following question: Regional Australia Have you lived for at least two years and worked full time for a total of one year in one or more specified regional area? No Yes if i follow the link specified regional area , it shows the following page which i have added link here: Regional Australia/Low Population Growth Metropolitan Areas - Workers - Visas & Immigration in the above mention page its describe about Regional Australia/low population growth metropolitan areas and given list in Regional Australia/low population growth metroplitan areas: its says Victoria except Melbourne metropolitan area but i live in Melbourne Metropolitan area, as i am in family sponsored visa 489 ,as part of visa condition i am eligible to live and work anywhere in Victoria but i am in big confusion either i can apply online application for 887 or not because in specified regional area in online application the above mention link is given where it says Victoria except Melbourne Metropolitan area and after 1st jan 2013 visa application 887 only can be submitted online as given in immigration p lease give me advice.

hi guys, i received employment reference letter from my employer for 887 but they didnt mention any duties that requested as per immi checklist, here is the mention word in letter: to whom it may concern, i can confirm that mr. abc commenced employment with abc company on d/m/y. mr. abc is currently employed as a abc(work title) on a permanenet full- time basis at abc( workplace) at an hourly rate of $000. sincerely name and signature. pls advice , if above mention letter is enough for DIBP for employment letter. need help worried cause my employer not giving letter as needed by DIBP. THANKS

Hi All , I am about to apply for 887 visa very soon , if anybody can help to clarify about my following query it will be appreciated. 1) I am working as a personal care assistant in aged care as apart time employee almost 2 years cause I couldn't get job on my skilled nominated occupation , where I am working in first week for 32 hrs and second week for 38.75 hrs as a part time employee. my question is ,did I full filled my work requirements criteria for visa subclass 887 ? 2) I don't have lease and utility bills in my name ,this is in my husband name , can I submit statutory declaration from my husband for living requirements. thanks
