Hi all, so we have been here 6 months already and are now looking to buy our first Aussie house. we have got some money in the uk that we need to bring over as a deposit. does anyone know if there are any complications with this regard tax issues etc in Australia if we transfer money straight to our Australian bank account. Only arrived a month ago and my last entry date was 29/06/16 so won't be here 2 years, is my situation the same as yours? Hi all so we have found our first base in Adelaide,rented a nice house in Dover gardens. The agent as signed us up to a company that will connect all the services into our name. Does anyone know who the cheapest provider is for gas and electricity also what are the options for the broadband? I guess we still need the house phone or does it all come in to package etc? thanks steve
