  1. Thanks everyone. Tamara your homes are lovely just we left it too late to book with you, we know its gonna be hard now but there a couple of places we might have, fingers crossed.
  2. Hi were flying out on the 13th March and need a furnished rental for 3-4 weeks, had already thought we'd secured a rental but it doesn't seem to be materialising so really need to book up ASAP . Thanks for any help or advice.
  3. Ahh congratulations to you too...we've booked flights for March, just trying to sort out either furnished accomodation or hotel for the first few weeks or get our container to go earlier and then we've only got to sort out a rental. My partner is going out a few weeks before us to do a course so he can sort out the rental..he's staying with friends but there's 6 of us so wouldn't dream of staying with friends lol it wouldn't be fare on them.. when are you planning on going and how are u getting on .
  4. Hi we recieved our visas..... Just had to wait it out we called the Australia house in London but they couldn't help, there's no number to call the DIBP directly, we even emailed a few sites just to receive an automated response...so in our experience don't waist your time trying to contact them just try and relax and they will contact you...easily said now we've got out visas I know but I do feel we stressed out far too much trying to find out !! Good luck to everyone still waiting hopefully not too long now xx
  5. Hi eventually got visas:jiggy:have booked flights for March now looking for a furnished 3 bed near aberfoyle and surrounding areas help needed.....thank you in advance for any info.
  6. Hi try and visit Tower of London there commemorating the WW1's victims.
  7. If we lived in Australia that wouldn't be a problem what I'm looking for is the number to call DIBP from the uk.
  8. Hi there Does anyone know how you can contact the DIBP by phone as to see how our visa application is coming along, I can't find the number to call from the uk !! Only the austaralian internal number. we completed our medicals on the 15th sept and are waiting for 190 visa. I must say this part has been the most stressful with everything on hold, we have everything ready and the kids are excited but no dates are set. If I have to explain to one more person that we are still waiting for visas and no we haven't set a date yet I'm gonna :arghh: ... I keep looking at other threads on here and looking at there dates and thinking ours should be here soon we did all that before them !!! Check our emails regularly and immi site and NOTHING...we would so love to be out there for Christmas ..
  9. Hi my daughter plays football she 14 she plays up a year in the uk, do the panthers FC have girls/ladies teams
  10. Thankyou for all the advice all and any help is very much appreciated...snifter our children's ages are 18 14 3 1, I would preferably like the coast and we have be looking around aberfoyle, Hallett cove area as my partner has a few friends in that part and possible work opportunities,we're hoping to move out there in august. Claire-n-tel I've started to read some of the threads on here, some are good and then others jet confuse me more lol. howde I've also been using google earth it's brilliant, I just wish I could please everyone and not have to keep moving around. Zebedee I'm sure it will work out I just hope I don't have to move around a lot, would be nice to wave a magic wand and stay in the first house. Our eldest will be 18 in July and wants to join the police force and also plays football at present he's at college doing a sports coaching coarse, our eldest daughter will soon be 14 she is really into her sports she currently plays football, and would also like to get back into her kick boxing/boxing again and eventually would like a career in sports/sports science, the 3 year old loves singing and dancing and loves going to her pre-school and mixing with other children so that is a must and the little one will be 2 in August and loves all her play groups and play centres,I'm a hairdresser and even though I can turn my hand to anything would love to either teach hairdressing or become a teachers assistant, my partner works in data/voice cabling etc. I'm hoping I can try and settle somewhere that can cover everyone's needs but I can see myself doing a lot more research.
