Hello every one: My wife came to Australia first in june 2012, but then she left in july 2012 and then came back to australia july 2013 and is now living in austarlia since then..we are granted PR in july 2015.. my Question is that IS MY WIFE ELIGIBLE FOR CITIZENSHIP ON JULY 2016 OR DO SHE NEED TO WAIT TILL JULY 2017 BECAUSE SHE SPENT ONE CONTINUES YEAR OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA IN FOUR YEARS??? Please waiting for repliesss

Today they asked me to provide new afp... I know it doesn't mean anything but at least they remember me. ..lolzz. . I was thinking. .what is the need of police clearance from us if they are doing our thorough investigation through so called top secret agencies in top secret way. ..???

Yes sugar boy...you are right. .no updates. ..most of 2013 and 2014 applicants disappeared from this forum. .. Before I used to think that we may get visa after 12-14 months of last team 13 contact. .. But current situation is even worse than what I initially thought. ..

yes sugarboy....september 2014... actually you remember most of people who applied after july 2014 are not being put on security check...we all know that .....infact my this friend was very much upset before because he used to say that every one who applied after july 2014 got pr and he is being put on security check.... i personally think he was not on security check...because we all know its takes ages to complete security check...

Good news for 2013 applicants. .. One person at my work place got 887 yesterday. .he applied september 2013. . His wife and kids were included in application. .. I will try to get more details and post it here. . Good luck 2013 and 2014 applicants

dear 2013 and 2014 887 applicants... Please keep posting time lines of any of your friends/relatives who applied 887 in 2013/2014 and gets visa these days and are not on this forum... i know we cant relate our cases but at least this will keep our "fake hope" alive......

you are right EID2014... BVA is actually a joke....you cant even get a mobile phone contract on BVA...

i can feel the pain...but not only 2013 applicants but also 2014 applicants are suffering...only people who applied late 2014 got 887...rest ever one is suffering from wait... actually its not the wait that made me angry...but its a lie that made me angry .....lie was that "you will be granted 887 after two years of residence and one year full time job"... this was actually a lie...they should have mentioned that you may have to wait another two or more years for security check... my question is that if they can do our medicals as PR at the time of 475 then why not security check... any ways at least now we know that develop countries governments also speak a lot of lies ....

Good news for long waiting applicants: My close friend got his 887 yesterday. His time line is ad follow. . 887 applied: October 2013 Team 13 contact : December 2013 Case officer team 10: February 2014 Grant: March 2015 Good luck to all waiting since long long long time. .

You are right. .new applicants who applied after July or august 2014 are getting 887 in very less time other than very few unlucky people. .. Actually I am sure immigration department itself don't know what they are doing. .they used to put everyone from Pakistan and Bangladesh and Iran and some arab countries people on security check but recently they realized that putting every one on security check will build a huge back lock so they started putting very selected applicants on security check. . Now thoes who are on security check have to wait until their security check is complete which I think can take a lot of time. . All we can do is just to wait and wait and wait. .

If you go through this forum you will come to know that people are waiting since April 2013. ..its sad but this is what they are doing to poor 887 applicants who are living peacefully in Australia and paying taxes. .. New applicants of 887 are getting visas in weeks, but because you are from old applicants like us so you can expect visa not less than 14 months. ..

I can't really understand what is wrong with old applicants ...all the new applicants from pakistan and Bangladesh and Iran are getting 887 in weeks at my work place. .and we old applicants are not expecting it in months. .. I think there is something seriously wrong with their system. .how can a country assume old applicants a security risk and new applicants as so so innocent. . We can expect these kind of terrible blunders in third world countries but not from so called developed countries. . I am very happy for my friends who were lucky enough to apply recently but at the same time I feel very bad for my friends waiting since very very long
