Hiya, just another question to add to my list of research. As the title says what does AC cost you per month/ year etc? I have read that reverse cycle AC is best as this provides heat as well for the colder months is that right? We have just paid out £100 a month in oil for the UK so wnat to know if we will be any better off lol in Oz wit the ac :jiggy:

Couldn't tell you what it costs on its own, but if you look at Stevo's GEPS thread, there are quarterly costs for electricity shown, which include air con. Ours is reverse cycle and yes, we do occasionally use it to heat the place up in the winter, and don't use it to excess in the summer.
