Need some 2 bedroom unit for one or two weeks with strong internet in March.

Most pages about short terms has not any info about internet, does it mean that most of them have no it?

Also I did not find any site, which has the option to show only internet equipped short term units.

Is there any way to install some broadband in holydayhouse upon arrival?

Most of them don't have it, but you can get mobile broadband :)

We have found that the wireless internet provided by 3 is ok (but not great) for skype (VOIP) calls.

There is a massive difference in broadband speeds though....even though you are paying the same price for the same product...just in different suburbs. We have ADSL2 in all our homes but again this can be misleading as there are different speeds available. We pay for the fastest but don't always get it!

In Port Noarlunga we have an Adam (great so far) naked DSL line which is a stand alone internet (no phone line and no monthly charges). In Christies Beach we have a Telstra ADSL2 line. However, our Old Reynella house also has an Adam naked DSL and the speeds of this line are 5 times faster than the others! Must be something to do with the line as all the homes run from the Lonsdale exchange.

We are currently waiting for a line to become available at the Lonsdale exchane as we are going to change our Telsta line to an Adam one.

You can get unlimites calls to landlines in Oz (with skype) for less than $5 per month and worldwide calls to landlines in 42 countries (including the UK) for around $15.

    Hope that this helps!
