Distance between Cities

Although the local councils call themselves "City Councils" they are really what we'd think of as suburbs more. A good site to get an idea of travel times between places is the RAA Route planner - you can put in "to" and "from" and it gives you distance and travel time (as well as instructions) - I can't put a link up at the moment because their site is under maintenance, but if you Google "RAA TRIP PLANNER" it's the first one that comes up!

Ah, site's back up: here's the link http://www.raa.com.au/maps/

Between those two particular suburbs is also just about the worst journey you could have in Adelaide, going from south west to north east! North to south or east to west isn't too bad, but as most of the roads are laid out in a grid pattern, going diagonally can be a nightmare!! The Trip Planner reckons 44 minutes, but in busy times it could easily be double that.
