Anyone imported kia sedona or similar mpv?

Hi, just looking into cost of importing car to oz and wondered if anyone had imported a similar car and could give us an idea of costs,

 

Our car is a kia sedona 2.9 ltr diesel, 2007 year, it is top of the range with leather seats.

 

If anyone could give us an idea of how much the tax is we would greatly appreciate it,

Would like to take care as it is a great car but obviously if it costs a bomb will have to look at other alternatives.

If anyone also knows of a company in oz we can contact about this that would be great

Try the Poms In OZ site they have a really good car shipping thread.

 

We considered taking out VW Touran but after weighing up the costs of customs in Oz, insurance for an exported car and that it is harder to sell an export in Oz we decided against it.

 

I would definitely read the thread on Poms in Oz though.

Yup, what Misplaced said. Also there is another thread there now where IronChief will give you a rating as to if your car is worth importing, middle of the road or not to bother.
