Football club for my son?

Hi all

 

My 7 (nearly 8) year old son is showing an aptitude for football (soccer) and I've been advised to get him into a club. He currently plays for his school.

 

Can anyone recommend a good club? We live in Glenelg, so somewhere nearby would make sense. I could look up the clubs nearby but I'm hoping someone has good, firsthand experience of a club - good coaches, atmosphere etc.

 

We could have a future Adelaide Utd player on our hands........

Playing for school is a good start!

 

There a a few clubs around that arent too far away from Glenelg. My son plays U13 for Cumberland Park.

There is also Plympton Bulldogs...and Cove FC..

I reckon Birkalla would probably be your nearest club. They play on Barratt Reserve on West Beach Road.
