New British Passport

Hi All,

My husbands passport expires shortly and I know we have to order a new one via New Zealand now. But I was just wondering about the visa stamped in the old one. We are temporary residents hoping to apply for PR when we have been here 2 yrs, do they stamp the exact same visa into the new passport?

I think, don't quote me on it, but you contact Aus immigration and inform them you have new passports, with PP number etc and they add it to the new passport electronically (as all visas are done this way these days). So it should be attached to your new passport, only without a label.

 

I'd contact Aus immigration and enquire to be sure.
