Has anybody moved with their music collection? I have circa 3000 records I would want to take with me, I will sell most of my 2500 tapes and take the very few cd's that I own. I would also want to take music equipment too including digital djing equipment so I don't get withdrawal symptoms whilst waiting.

 

The record collection is quite unique and includes many very rare Chicago and Detroit house and techno from 1984 onwards which I would really struggle to replace.....however the £30k ish value would be useful!

 

The thought would be to maybe put the collection in store and ship over once settled and house purchased as once boxed the records need a small lorry to move and must weigh a tonne or so. Might ship with a car or two although not sure if there is a weight limit with shipping?
