Anyone flown with Emirates?

 

Are you able to give any advice to novice flyers?

I don't fly with them as its through Dubai usually but they get good reviews. IIRC 30kg standard luggage allowance in economy.

We flew with Emirates via Dubai to Perth in 2008 no problems at all. we will defiantly use them from Adelaide to Birmingham, great route for us on our visits home.

Considered 5* plus - you couldn't get a better airline. Service is first class as is entertainment. You can phone from seat to seat - play games with others regardless of where they are seated. All the movies, tv you could want. My daughter just got back from Kenya via emirates and we are going to New York that way. Effective November they are flying directly in and out of Adelaide. Woo hoo!!

They're fine. Usually competitive pricing, excellent onboard films/music etc etc and the 30kilos is a real bonus.

We've flown both Emirates and Singapore and preferred Emirates. We had a stopover in Dubai which was great.
