City to Bay 2012

Just wondered if anyone knows or is travelling on the Noarlunga Train on Sunday morning. from what I gather the only train is 06:55 which gets to Adelaide CBD at 07:45 which is a little too close for comfort for the start of the race !!! Are they running the 06:25 as they would on a Saturday ? I have tried emailing Adelaidemetro but have had no joy.

 

Other options would be to park at Glenelg and get the Tram (06:40 or 07:00) but I imagine parking would be a bit Crazy around the Bay.

 

looks like a stupid o'clock early rise is in order just to get a park.

 

If I drive to glenelg does any one what a car share ?

We are driving to the city, parking is ok by the cricket ground, then get the free tram or bus back to the city afterwards.

I'm down in Glenelg and there are loads of road closures planned for the day.

I wouldn't bother trying to work it out.

Parking will be a nightmare.

 

As Rob says, there is a tram or bus to take you back into the city after the race.

I think they are recommending that people park up by the Entertainment Ctr. and catch the tram down to the start.
