Help with Ahpra and ANMAC

Hi my daughter is just beginning to start on her skill assessment on her visa, she is getting confused, she understands what she needs to do for ANMAC, she has also been told she also needs to register with Ahpra, but looking at the forms she is wondering if she needs to be in Australia to do this. She would be grateful for any advice on registering as a nurse, and what pitfalls to watch out for.

Hi. There is more info on poms in oz but basically she needs Anmac for visa and ahpra for registration - equivalent of NMC. If she has a degree then all good but if.not cannot get registration here without it. You don't have to be in Australia to apply for reg.

I have a cousin moving from the US who was able to get the AHPRA reg and the ANMAC cert from overseas. I believe the only condition on the visa was that he has to enter by a certain date.
