Utility Charges

Hi All,

 

Doing our application for South Australian sponsorship and looking into the cost of utilities to put a budget together. I have found elec and gas ok with uswitch website but wanted to know the water company and the council rates charges. Can anyone tell me average costs for a 3 bed house? Are these things usually included in rental costs?

Hi there,

 

we are in a rental and only pay the usual utilities ie gas, electricity, telephone.

 

If anything breaks down in the house the landlord repairs it, they also pay the water rates up to a certain level then after that you have to pay, but we have been in our rental for 8 months and have never been charged anything, also the rates are paid by the landlord too.
