Nursing job descriptions

Hi

I would value opinions on nursing job descriptions. Whilst searching for jobs, I have found some of the job descriptions to be quite vague and have had to call the manager to clarify the role. The jobs have mainly been in Child Health. Wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience or is it just me?

the job descriptions are definetly not as detailed as uk ones but i doubt much of the job will be different what type of role is it?

The role was a child and adolescent health role, but from what I could see it didn't really explain the role, so I called the manager, who explained the role with more clarity. I just wondered if the JD was so vague, where things would stand if I got the job and the role and JD to be at odd or ambiguous
