Thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm a newbie to poms in adelaide but registered with poms in oz a while ago now.

My name's Anne and I have been in Oz 15 months now, and lived in Geelong, Victoria, when I first came out. Due to bf's job, we had to relocate to Adelaide in March this year (bf had previously lived in Adelaide for almost 5 years -which has been handy for me in getting to know the place quickly). I'm loving Adelaide, the south australian lifestyle is much more me, although I do miss going out and socialising as I did in the UK. I find that the friends that I have made here live so far away that get togethers are almost impossible.

If anyone is new to Adelaide and wants some info on the place, feel free to drop me a pm and I'll see if I can help.

Love Marion shopping centre. Glad I don't live near it, bf would have a fit if I spent a lot there, hehe.

Shamefully, I've never been to watch any games at Ammi. May have to make a point of doing so.

There's just the two of us. How about you two? Do you have children?

Hi Jo & Phil,

Thanks for the welcome. This is the first time I've lived in Adelaide. Met bf in the UK (he already lived out here) so we had to do the long distance thing for quite a while.

Are you out here yet?

A drink would be good. I'll just warn you that I'm hopeless with directions out here, so will leave the chauffeuring to bf.

There is a pub near us but I wouldn't take you there as it looks a tad ferrel (wipe your feet on the way out, kinda place).
