No we tried to do a reccie at chistmas but our flights were cancelled due to the severe snow at heathrow. Cant wait to get over there. Looking to settle close to a beach and there seems to be plenty of nice beaches.

We are in the exact same boat. My wife works in admin and finance and I'M also a brickie. We are also looking to settle around Hallett Cove or Port Noarlunga. Maybe we could team up. with a 176 and a job sml plan you would be a cat 2 which from what I can make out is much faster than 175 route to a visa.

How long do you have before activating visas 176. I think I read somewhere that You have 12 months is this correct.
