Don't let the press hype fool you! we are currently selling a large well presented 5 bed house in Port Noarlunga, we have been for over 3.5 months. the area is meant to be still on the top of the areas to live, the price is right, still it's on the market Confidence is not there as it was, people are less well off and if course the exchange rate it poor. so we are now considering renting it out, the buyers are not out there.

Anyone have the use of or know somebody who no longer needs a white line marker? trying to locate one that takes liquid rather than the aerosol version as the cost to use that version is difficult for anew club. if you know of a club who would give us the use of theirs we would gladly pay for paint, collect and return and make a small donation to their club or charity. And some who do all the above can be as bad as those tyke refer to. along with the good there is bad in all, research is important. in the past I have helped people out and never had any complaints, in fact always have our guests more than they thought they would get. some people like to cover the cost of sharing their homes and if you can find somebody who is recommended, go for it! The stringfellows stopped with us and they certainly appreciated the help.. The saying, you pay for what you get, is often the case..

Dianne, ignorance of where the fines actually go astounds me. Maybe attend a fatal accident or go and knock the door of those who have lost their lives due to drink/drug or speed related collisions. The police would rather not be there to deliver a death message. Christmas crackers are the last thing the traffic police will be pulling! Speed does kill, fines don't!

I say pay the fine, you would spend a lot of time contesting it and you would more than likely got found guilty! You need evidence to the contrary, the police rely on certificates of accuracy and without an expert in the field of the device you got caught with, you have little or no chance. the issue with contesting it in court, you will get a conviction recorded on your criminal history! if you need any advice speak to a lawyer, they will probably take money off you and tell you to plead or pay it. up to you in the end...

I agree with tykes comments research research. i also know that there are decent folk who help others and don't rip you off, and give you more than you pay for. so don't stress, just do your research and I'm sure you will find the right place. we were people who 'do it on the side", and I can certainly say we helped people out. good luck
