    887 Visa - What's the update?

Comrade Russki Here's something we could think about... as course of action http://www.ombudsman.gov.au/How-we-can-help/immigration-ombudsman

    887 Visa - What's the update?

... and to help them speed up the process I think they should recruit and employ us because of our relevant experience, knowledge and skills on this ordeal

    887 Visa - What's the update?

I agree with Comrade Russki. I also have not heard of any person who was asked for medical examinations when applying for 887 visa. Upon checking my immi account online lodgement page, it shows "no health assessment or no examinations required" and I have not been contacted by the department to do anything to meet the health requirement.

Hi Farha As requested, here's a link that explains the process and gives the step by step https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-regional-887#HowTo If you need more help, feel free to ask.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Dear John Snow Yes it is safe to travel after you applied for 887 and you do not need to tell immi home affairs if you want to travel outside Australia while they process your application for 887 visa. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-regional-887#HowTo

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Here's from one in limbo to another wishing you a Merry Christmas and praying, hoping for a successful New Year (887 Visa grant).

    887 Visa - What's the update?

@Kusai Below quote is from Raed's experience. In my opinion, the immigration's silence or inaction (no objection nor confirmation) to @Raed's email could be construed as an admission of YES. Qui tacet consentire videtur, "silence means consent". When VEVO explicitly states that the visa holder has full permission to work/study with NIL Visa Conditions, it should be interpreted in its plain, ordinary and straightforward meaning.

Yes it's true. Estimated processing time is now 12-14 months as indicated in ImmiAccount.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Magandang (good) morning Kabayan(!!) and all Thank you sa walang humpay (tireless) updating the timeline tracker. I would like make a suggestion to the brilliant Creator of the spreadsheet and to this group. To maintain integrity of data and the information shared on the spreadsheet, do you think it's possible to have a couple or limited number of people who are allowed to update the spreadsheet while the rest of group members on viewing mode only? Mabuhay!! (Cheers)

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Hi IMMI Acknowledgment (of Visa 887) Application Received from Department of Home Affairs; Passport; and Medicare enrolment form I applied in person on 23rd November 2018 and got my Medicare card after 2 weeks. Prepare for a short interview. I was asked whether I was here in Australia when I applied for 887 visa. Of course, our answer should be a resounding YES. Good day to every one mates

    887 Visa - What's the update?

The way I see it is... without the two substantive visas (current 489 visa and succeeding 887 visa applied for) the bridging visa would have no legs to stand on. If it has no legs to stand on its own, why would the department place a heavy burden and give same condition (to stay in designated area) when its primary purpose is to allow an applicant to remain here in Australia while the department process his/her 887 visa applications? Again the thoughts, opinions and views expressed here are product of my imagination and belong solely to me, and not necessarily to Department of Home Affairs, its case officers and OMARA.

    887 Visa - What's the update?

Hi Gracee My bridging visa explicitly states I have full permission to work/study with NIL Visa Conditions (remarkably different to substantive 489 where we must stay in designated area). My impression is we can move and work in the city when our bridging visa takes effect. Have a nice day every one. 887 Visa - What's the update?

Delfin I've printed the document and had it certified by a pharmacist by showing to him the (electronic) document from which it was attached (in an email). Good morning every one.
