  1. Good on you mate, guess you just missed a direct grant. Didn't you upload any proof for functional English yet ? Sent from my SM-J500H using Tapatalk
  2. The response from your question clearly stated that the answer you are seeking for is on the Form. Before you start filling form 80 there is a CLEAR instruction requiring you to read before you FILL. Australia's DHA website is one of thr most user friendly Immigration site known among it's contemporaries. Let's try and READ basic instructions as what you are seeking . This is a constructive criticism anyway, Don't take it the wrong way. CHEERS. Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  3. Was your wife's overall band score IELTS 6.0 or more ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  4. Like the name suggest, Any additional information you couldn't provide in the other questions on Form 80 due to lack of space can be provided on Part T. Mostly the part where you are asked to provide 10 years residential and work address is unable to fit the space provided on the form hence can be provided in Part T. 5. Hi mate, Didn't you submit the PCC for your wife initially ? Or CO requested for a renewal ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  6. Congrats mate, What form of evidence did you use for spouse fxnal english and Did you update your Home country PCC ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  7. Sometimes I think the organisation and labelling of the documents as well as the various description given to each document uploaded plays an important role in clarity for Case Officers. I presume maybe poor or ambiguous labelling might cause CO to presume absence of evidence hence further request same evidence. That's what I think anyway. Let's all try and organize our documents and label them with much CLARITY Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  8. That was a solid application there mate, Good Job ! How many copies of passport photos did you upload for each applicant ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  9. Congrats mate, Did you update PCC as well ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  10. Hey mate, why are they requesting a visa for your child ? Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  11. Good Afternoon guys, Can someone help with this clarification. Thanks in anticipation. 1. I am aware Police certificate is valid for 12 months according to Dept of HA. My PCC has a 6 month expiry duration. Is it still valid for 12 months for Home Affairs or have to renew every 6 months. Concerned because getting PCC overseas takes time and expensive. 2. Read on AFP website it takes 48 Hours to get AFP Police Certificate. Is this accurate. Thanks everyone ! Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  12. Documents once submitted can NEVER be deleted or previewed and it stays with the department forever. What you can do is fill in and submit the notification for incorrect answer form explaining the mistake and you are good to go. CHEERS ! Sent from my ZTE B2017G using Tapatalk
  13. Hi Everyone, It's quite unfortunate processing time keeps increasing in a short space of time. I have tried to do a little bit of research with regards to processing of visas in DHA . These are some facts which might help; 1. Processing times are not legally backed by any legislation thus its issued by the sole discretion and prerogative of the Minister ( DHA). The minister is given power to prioritize and reduce certain processing times based on compassion and not by LAW. This probably accounts for why DHA don't feel threatened by the excessive increase. 2. Unlike the past where only one Case Officer is Assigned to a case, Now multiple Case officers work on one file and each file has a checklist box which needs to be checked anytime a CO picks up the file. This probably accounts for why different case officers request for more Info based on what they feel as sufficient or not. 3. Once an application is made, Case officers are quickly assigned to scan through all the documents and then the file goes back to the queue. If the very first case officer after the initial assessment doesn't request for further docs, the status will still remain RECEIVED but does does not imply the file is not under processing. 4.Lastly, the problem now in the delay of processing is getting your file picked up again in the queue after request for further Documents because the frequency of picking your file increases most of the checklist boxes to be checked making the application a DECISION READY application. Once its DECISION READY the last Case officer who picks it up eventually Grants the visa. These are just research gathered from different forums and may not be entirely accurate but hope it helps those who want to have an idea what goes on in the DHA processing centre.
