  4. HELP!!! Looking into verifying my NVQ's to AQF's...Has anybody any ideas where to start? I am a Hairdresser qualified up to and including level 4 / teaching / Internal Verifying included, but as I am aware these NVQ's are not recognised over there!!! Any body know if I could start work whilst going through the process of verifying them, I have read it takes around 3 months for this process, and I have to be in residency We don't arrive until beginning of September. Any information would be appreciated... Thanks- all Tracey

  6. You could contact any visa company they should tell you the same thing as they should all sing (as the saying goes) from the same hymn book Mention your concern, then try another company.
  7. Ozdream... As I applied to another state first, near the end of our application being finalised, my trade was removed off their list, therefore we changed to another state and re-applied. I was however, concerned - What if we don't like it? or can't get a job? We where informed by the visa company, As long as you can prove that you have tried to get a job in your chosen trade, you can apply to the government explain the situation, tell them in writing that you have really tried your hardest to find vacancies of your trade but have failed to do so. They will then allow or dis-allow your move to your new chosen state. I hope this helps you... Good Luck

£2908 we paid which i was pleased with as it was only booked month/6weeks ago. That's also with Singapore airlines. Still sorting out accommodation for hen we arrive, probably a holiday home somewhere as they don't allow you to book unless you are in the country. So much to do - so little time

  12. Our eldest is in our home town's, school of excellence football team, he has done so since he was 7. He plays for the under 15's age group for football, so he has excelled rapidly. He would like to continue this if he could. My son (7) plays football and daughter (10) plays football & netball but also enjoys horse riding. In general the out door life is essential for us as a family...hence why we are moving!!! Thanks for your info' anything else you wish to add would be a great help any links etc thank-you
  13. hi all, just want to know if anyone knows of any good state secondary school for sport? our eldest son is 15 and his life is all around sport, so if anyone can point us in the right direction we would be very greatful. also we have two other children ages 10 and 7 so a good state primary school would'nt go a miss. these schools will determin where abouts we are going to settle, not really decided yet and time is ticking so to say. we have been looking around the norwood/ marryatville area but that is not a given that we will goto these areas. many thanks tracey arriving in oz on the 2nd sept 2011
  14. Thank you for that I have contacted them, so hopefully they will return an email. Tracey
  15. Hi all Does anybody know of any holiday rentals that are recommended? We are arriving in Adelaide on the 2nd September, and are looking for something available for a couple of weeks when we arrive? If not, any short term furnished rental properties for lease, until we sort something more permanent. Thanks Trasi
