Hi Igglepop, I think you are more likely to get something faster in your line of disability care work as well as any form of care work but for your husband it might not be that fast and will need to be patient, all in all it is also a matter of luck for him. Otherwise the Adelaide job market ain't that rosy but needs some patience and good focus. -
Hey Cloudnine, where do you work, are you in Adelaide am also looking for IT Technical Roles currently on service desk which I should have quit by now.

I should have picked South not South Coast then coz I live along marion road at Plympton area. ANyway like it and believe is an excellent area for families tarting good schools, relatively kool weather during summer and lots of friendly people around here. Lving it but once settled al move to the hills around Aberfoyle come end of my lease thats one 11 months to go now.

To all I got a job, to be specific an IT job today had an interview yesterday and was called in for another with the manager and I got the job, got a call about an hour or less confirming I got the job.

For me and my family we got 40Kg check in and 7kg each carry-on from our country, this was automatic.

Folks I think I spent my day well. Opened a bank account, Registered for Medicare, picked the ambulance application form and will be registering with centerlink tomorrow around where I intend to leave in the next 2 weeks or so. I also did my TFN about 40hrs ago, did it online and expect the medicare cards, ATM and TFN early next week delivered via post at the door. Hope to get in-touch with employers as from Monday once have rest enough.

Hi Bevev, you CO will most likely do you a mail today latest tomorrow, they normally communicate once they have flagged the submitted docs. Maybe even ask for meds if all are in order and not from HR country. Good luck buddy and welcome aboard painful waiting team.
