Hi Gurpz, I am on same boat with you. I lived in Dubbo (Orana) for 1 year, moved to Geelong. I applied on 19 Sep 2018. When I emailed council for release letter, they said they do not provide release letter anymore as it is not needed at that time (Aug 2017). Could you please confirm when did you ask for release letter? Thanks

Hi Mazie, Sorry to bother you. Did you submit the police check from home country? Did you use the police check which was used in 489 application? Did you visit your home country during after you applied 489 visa? Thank you

Hey wincivil I have checked and it is still "Received" status. Probably it takes few hours or few days to update the status on system? Another applicant applied in November 2018 also received the same email. So there are many applicants received the same email

Hi guys I also received the confirmation's email from Home Affair around 2pm, which is exactly the same with above quote. Applied 19/09/2018. All docs are up to date. Finger Cross to all. A Silent Follower too.
