Just found out we can hire a van for the day so we could pick it up next week if that's okay as we need to buy most goods for the house so going to try to do it all on one day . Can you keep it till Saturday at the latest as we sign for our long term rental on monday and move in Saturday but if they let us put some stuff in before Saturday i will let you know thanks

Hi nomads thank you for your very kind offer. We land at 08.15 in the morning so not sure how long it takes to clear customs. But we would love to meet up with you so you could point us in the right direction for like supermarkets and what to do on arriving in adelaide etc if that's no bother. Maybe your son could tell my 21 yr old what australian life is like for their age ! Lol as he's not sure if he wants to stay when he comes in november. Any guidance we can get would be much appreciated and hope that we can meet. You have made us feel at ease already knowing that people are willing to help Thank you very much:smile:

Thanks for everyone's reply we will get station wagon to apartment then hire a car later in the day for 10 days so we can hopefully find a second hand car!! Hope it isn't too hard ..lol

Hi we have two daughters aged 10 and 11 and a son 21 who will be joining us in November. Maybe you'd like to meet up at some point to see how your getting on. At the moment the two girls haven't quite come round to the move but we are hoping once they get there they will come around to the idea and settle in.....fingers crossed !

Not sure what forum to put this on but when we arrive at the airport in a few weeks time there will be 2 adults and 2 children with 6 large cases plus hand luggage. We will be travelling to the baybeachfront apartments in glenelg can anybody tell me if we can get a minibus outside the airport or would we have to get two taxis. Also if anyone could give us a rough price what the fares are thanks very much jon:smile:

Yes I know Tamara homes are south but we Looked at them as a back up incase we couldn't find anything. Ideally we would like somewhere around Glenelg.We have been given a price for the baybeachfront apartments in glenelg so if i can't find anything else by tomorrow then we will have to book them. So I'm going to be busy today researching lol !!!

Thanks very much yes they were the homes we were looking at too but unfortunately because the 190 visas had delays since January we couldn't book anything earlier
