Sorry I've returned to the uk now! But the Brighton play group is a great place to meet people for your child and you! There's a soft play in glenelg called wiggly worms though we felt it had over priced itself when taken over by new management! There's another called imagination kids which was great and the beach house is great and other games to do there too. Best of luck with your move back! x

I can't remember if it was needed for the AITL I think you do, but you definitely need the letter for the assessment for registration with the TRB anyway so you may as well get it and ask for a few copies!

Look at the Facebook group what's on for adelaide families - loads of great ideas! I think they have a website too! Every week they give a lowdown of what's going on!

We used bicarbonate of soda to deter the ants but apparently talc works as well! It did the trick they got all confused and didn't come in! Also ant rid! Xx

I agree it's a great play group and lots of mums there to meet! Yep it's by the railway! I go with my 3year old too so will prob see you there!

Some people are so kind it's really heart warming to read! I don't really have anything as still using others' things at the mo - but I do have some cups!

I love ikea - it's become my second home haha! Also kmart sell kettles and toasters for $7.50 - they have lots of cheap starter packs with plates, cutlery etc too. Obviously it's not too notch quality but they work and do the job We got our couch from haggle - there's one on port road and in noarlunga too. The port road also has a haggle clearance across the road. They sell alsorts and the more you buy the more you can save! You just have to 'haggle' (sorry!) Also there is a second hand white goods place on port road and the guys there were really helpful- we ended up just buying new from there as wasn't much different in price for the smaller fridge freezers and washing machines. They don't always have the new ones on display but they have them if you ask - also haggle with them- whatever the price is say you've seen it cheaper online and they match it. Also sometimes people are selling/donating on here so keep an eye out! And target have good sales too! Good luck

I have a three and a half year old daughter and live not far from glenelg - there's wiggly worms soft there or one called imagination off south road or there is the play cafe in marion.
