Out in Glenelg

Going out in Glenelg in the next couple of weeks to celebrate my birthday with a few of the girlies. Only been there in the day time. Can anyone recommend any pubs there please?

Depends what you after.... Jetty Bar is cheap but feral...some good live bands! The Dublin is a bit pricey and usually has a DJ on sat night..... gets better later at night! The Pier One Bar is good to watch sunsets and has dj or band on sat night.... can get busy and has reasonably priced drinks! The Watermark i class as a good place to meet up for few before heading to the rest! The Grand Bar is usually full of younger ppl, but caters for all really, drinks reasonable too! Chalkers is a Pool hall but great for a laugh early on! Holdfast is not in central Glenelg but a good pub none the less....especially as they brew they're own beer!

Thanks for that, gives me more of an idea where to head for now.

 

The only one I knew of apart from the Watermark (been there for food before) was the Dublin which was going to be our last point of call as understand it stays open late.
