Filling some holes

Hello All

 

Anyone give a rough idea on how much it maybe to plaster 3 holes all roughly 4inch by 4 inch?

I can't do that stuff but don't wana be taken for a ride when getting quotes.

I am no expert but, all by myself lol, I fixed a hole about that size using a metal patch

 

They are available from Mitre 10 / Bunnings etc and are really cheap and easy to use. Plus, when I finished people couldn't see the hole had been there. I was very, very full of myself hahaha! (but I was!)

 

The patch has an adhesive side that attaches it to the wall, then simply use some filler to get a nice smooth finish.

 

Easy as!

i have a whole around that size in my head......i just filled it with pizza for about 10 bucks

Is it a plasterboard wall or a solid plaster wall you would be looking at under $100 for that type of repair. It is not the size of the job its the time involved waiting for the plaster or filler to dry between coats. If plasterboard should get 3 coats if solid plaster only needs two coats and different material for each type of surface.
