Any civil, structural or environmental engineers?

Hi, my son starts university next year studying a combined degree of structural, civil and environmental engineering. He is after some work experience but struggling.. either they have nothing or don't reply to any emails, calls.

 

Does anybody work in the same field that can recommend a company he can contact or email regarding work experience. We live in southern suburbs so needs to be commutable.

Is the city commutable for him? I will ask a family member who works for a big engineering company and if they take people on work experience, will let you know. I don't know if they do that sort of engineering, so will have to check that too!
