We are breaking our lease as we are moving back to the UK and so are advertising our house to rent on behalf of our landlady.

It is a semi-detached bungalow in the heart of Goodwood. Excellent location: 3 minute walk to the tram stop, 2 minute walk to Goodwood road's cafes, restaurants and shops and 10 minute walk to stylish King William Road with all of its cafes, restaurants, shops and bars.

3 good sized bedrooms (although we use one as a second lounge/study), main bedroom with walk-in-wardrobe, main family bathroom, new wooden-floating flooring through the main dining area, two terrace areas withs patio doors and a garage with electric doors. High ceilings and a nice light and airy feel.

Really good price (around the 400per week) for the location and size and direct contact with the landlady so no need to go via any agencies which has been great. We have lived here happily for 18 months.

PM me for more details or to arrange a viewing. It will available from around the 8th May.

thanks ?

I live in Goodwood and can vouch for it. It's a lovely old area, about 4kms to the city of Adelaide, the Tram is nearby that takes you to Adelaide or Glenelg Beach and lots of spots in between. Has the Sunday Farmers Markets at the Wayville showgrounds (nearby) where you can buy fresh produce. A few good Pubs and about a 40 minute walk to the city of Adelaide if you feel so inclined. We often go to the Old Art Deco Capri Cinema to watch a movie - gorgeous old cinema. The bus usually takes 10 minutes from King William Road to take you to the city.

Hmmmm.....thats me out then!:tongue::tongue:

Thanks goodness - I'm not sure Goodwood could cope :smile::tongue:

Doing ok - have a few weeks off - hope to go to the Flinders Ranges at the weekend but it will be busy....just waiting to see the weather forecast as it isn't the best there when it is raining. And you? Hopefully the OP doesn't mind us hijacking their thread - although it does give them a free bump...:wink:

Goodwood really, really is a nice area.....and extra bonus.....Claire doesn't live here.....

Thanks for the comments! Yes Goodwood is lovely. Just about to walk around the corner to the bakers to get some nice fresh bread for breakfast!
