Hello from an electrical engineer

Hi all, not completely new to here but thought I would introduce myself. Visa has been applied for and am awaiting a CO. I'm an electrical engineer working for Babcock and currently work on projects and maintenance on heathrows baggage system, particularly the control systems and x-rays. I know Adelaide has an airport but if anyone knows of anyone there that can help me out that would be great or alternatively anywhere else whether it is babcock or not would be great.

Hi mate. I've seen a few jobs advertised for electrical engineers.

One was there I think. The other two I see in city center. When I was applying for my trades licence.

I see, it's pretty difficult from here due to not having the visa as yet but the aim is to have a job secured for starting in March. I'll keep plodding on then, hoping for a similar job to what I have here if that's at all possible

If you're lucky you may fall into a similar role to back in UK. Might be worth thinking about the possibility of down grading yourself to get a foot in the door. I also have come to that realisation.
