State Sponsorship advice please!

Hi can anyone advise how best to answer on the SA State Sponsorship application? OH and I were horrified to see we had a minimum of 300 words in which to reply for most boxes (like being back at school!).:arghh:

Like everyone who is serious about this , we have done our research - it's just that the topic areas are so vague ie what do you know about SA?

There are obviously certain noises which have to be made - would love to hear how everyone else has answered. I pity the poor SA official who has to plough through it all (or do they even bother?!) - everyone must list the same reasons for wanting to make the move ie lifestyle , brighter future for kids, climate etc etc!

Your help most welcome!

Thanks

Marcia

Just mention Sensational Adelaide inevery sentence.... sorry its just part of the marketing campaign at the moment. I would research the immigration sa site and note how they are selling themselves with what they have to offer and then put that in your answers. Prob some others who have actually filled out this stuff will have better ideas than me. :)

Hi

We have recently completed the form - and glad to say - received the OK for sponsorship. It is a bit odd, having to sell yourself and your reasons for going, but you have to show that you have really thought of everything and that SA is your first choice of state to settle. We have two young children, so we also had to detail schools we had considered and any contact that we have made (requesting prospectus etc). Also detail what you have researched into housing, where do you think you may like to live (actually need to name areas you have researched), why, can you afford it - those sorts of things.

Hope it all goes OK

Julie
