Football (soccer) for seniors

Hi, Im in my early 40's and looking to play 5/6 aside somewhere not too far from the eastern suburbs on a weekday evening. Have played a decent standard many years ago and still active and keen. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks Neil

There are a few threads over the past couple of pages about soccer clubs but not sure any of them would suit. Also not sure its the time of year for joining but you can soon find out. Think the season only has a couple more months to run but I could be wrong. 

It may be you'll put out feelers now and have time to find a team ready for next year.

Perhaps make a short list of clubs within reasonable travelling time to and email them and see what is what. Also if you have kids and they are keen to play, check out local sports grounds as often soccer clubs are attached to those. 

Here are the threads. Perhaps give some of those people a call and if they are not suitable, they could perhaps put you in touch with a more local team.
